@MaxwellBrooklyn,

If you get the 3 bureau monitoring which gives you your score, you don't need the other 2 in my opinion. Whenever there is a change / something fishy going on, the monitoring services will alert you. Unless you want to get all that you listed but it is not necessary. The reason why I am suggesting myfico is most companies use their score. So like the Barclays Apple card you wanted, Barlclays will be using information from myfico. I think all 3 bureaus with my fico + scores is I think $21 a month..

Do you know what your credit scores are? If so, what are they?

Your friends score must have been high enough. You won't know what yours is until you pull your TransUnion Report and score from here or wait for the denial letter from barclays that will have the score they pulled and the reasons they denied you. If you have a lot of unpaid bills on your reports then it may take some time to start being approved for credit cards, It may be something simple and easily fixed. won't know until you look and see.

The reconsideration number for Barclays is 866-408-4064 (Credit Analyst).

MaxwellBrooklyn does not know what is on his report nor does he know what his score is. Wouldn't it be smart on his side to pull his report and know his score before calling and wasting an analyst time? When you think about it, his chances of reconning succesful is zero to none if he doesn't know what he is talking about.

I also think it is smart move for him to pull his reports first because he can only fix the problem if he knows what is on your report.

You can pull your report for free from annualcreditreport.com. Any major derogatory marks can be seen. A FICO score is useful and paying for it might make sense. However, let's say he is 20 years old with limited income. In such a scenario, paying 20-60 bucks for a score might not make sense and a report should be enough. While I agree he should pull his report, I am not so sure he should pay for the 3 bureau monitoring as it is a minimum of $60 invested over 3 months. Whether or not the service makes sense for him depends on his unique financial circumstances.

@Anonymous wrote:

Okay bro But One of my friend that Use credit line to card in apple store told me that he only use SSN and DOB on Barclaycard apple reward and He Got Approved do you know that methold ?

He gave them the information and they would have pulled his credit report before approving the card. Barclays will not approve someone for the apple rewards card without a credit pull. Moreover, the only reason he would have been asked for his SSN and DOB is to allow Barclays to do the credit pull (Apple store person plugs in information, Barclays processes it and pulls the report and sends back a decision to Apple store clerk).
