I recently got the Costco Citi Card. I want to follow the best practices for the next 6 months as I have items coming off my credit over this time and I want to take advantage of a credit line increase after this time passes to capitalize on the largest increase they can offer.

Anyone who has this card that has been able to get a decently sized limit increase can you provide some insight?

Thanks!

Citi has been very generous with credit limit increases for me. I would say just use the card and pay it down and you’ll be in good shape. There should be language in your account service page that says you can request a CLI with no hard pull.
Good luck!

My experience and what I've seen more often is slow and steady with Citi/Costco. You can soft pull CLI once every six months. Lately I've gotten $1.5K but previously $3K was common. That was with light usage. Heavier usage might help. I believe you can also call them and ask for hard pull CLI which might be more generous.
