Trying to start Chase card base but Amex 125k offer very tempting

As the title states I'm starting out my Chase card base with a recent approval of the CSP on 7/5/21 which puts me at 1/24.But now the Amex Plat has a offer for 125k through resy and this is another card on my list but not this soon.My dilemma now, which card do I apply for next? I have put some thought in a chase business card first, but not sure how long this Amex offer will be around.

All my scores in sig all are current as of 7/12/21 as well as all the cards and account age.

income 30k a year

It would largely depend on your short term or long term strategy as far as what you intend to do or use the cards for.

As far as any business cards go, you're welcome to start a separate thread on that particular topic in the Business Credit subforum. This area is primarily for personal cards discussions.

A point to consider with the Amex Platinum is that a lot of its value is the SUB. Hitting the spend for that SUB isn't trivial - it's $5-6k in a matter of months. If you go for it, be aware of that. You don't want to miss out on the SUB, but the card is also heavily travel-biased. Will you put it to good use in that regard, especially with the huge annual fee?

I ask because you stated your income at $30k, and the spend requirements of the card are pretty stiff. If you aren't traveling and using it for that, and/or may have to stretch the budget to hit the SUB, this might be a card better left for later on. In no way am I trying to talk down, but just trying to point out that considerable spend on it in specific ways is needed to really gain the benefit of the card.

Stated income is profits from self employment, majority of my spend on credit card is inventory and supplies. 2500-3000 is all credit spend (plus I can pay my taxes with card as well so that helps,)a month, and have the funds to pay off my cards.I'm worried about missing the SuB on the Amex Plat being this high, I plan to do more travel in the near future mostly domestic flights to from Las Vegas to New York.

Ok that's good - you definitely could make use of the spend power and rack up some serious rewards. There have been people in the past that were not in an ideal situation to use the card to its full potential and I wanted to be sure you weren't similarly positioned.
