Weird cap 1 Walmart app

Went to the Walmart pre approval page tonight.put in my info hit submit .it said Congratulations your pre approved for Walmart store card .usually there pre approvals are 100% .so I applied got the we will notify u by mail in 7-15 days .oh well kinda bummed but life goes on.you never know.

I would wait until you receive something by snail mail that confirms the outcome. It's possible additional processing may be required or they need to verify other information.

Got the letter through email today .declined

That's okay just in dealing with cap 1 for over 25 years the is the first pre approval I've ever heard of them denying its usually 100% in my experience

Sucks for sure OP. Did they list valid reasons for the declined app? I know sometimes CapOne can dish out reasons that don’t always make the most sense.

Sorry @Anonymous the PreApproval did not work out. Never know with Cap1. I show a PreApproval with Walmart Mastercard, but on Cap1 it only PreApproves me for a secured card. I already have a QS1.

Just the usaul reasons ,too many inquiries, not enough credit experience ect

It's all good I have the platinum card thanks alot
