Does calling capitol one every result in changing their mind on this? I use the card heavily, paying it off weekly at least. What do you guys think?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Calling in right now will not change their minds if they decline you. It is best to just wait for an approval or a denial letter.       <description>&lt;P&gt;@Anonymous&amp;nbsp;Capital One does not do any HPs outside of new apps.&amp;nbsp;@Anonymous&amp;nbsp;as former CO Supervisor 3-5 days means pending but usually means that you will probably be declined. Again its only a SP whenever you ask for a CLI with them.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

At least you got the 3-5 day message--mine are always outright denials.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But to answer your question, I think what others have said makes sense. Just sit tight for a little bit, let the account age, and you'll probably get an auto-CLI at some point. After that, or if that doesn't occur, you can try again--but please look around the boards to see how awful Cap1 is about CLIs. It's not just me!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If it's your first CLI on the card that comes at 6 months and is automatic and normally very small, esp since it's probably a bucketed card. Typically Cap 1 will only consider CLI every 6 months.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I wouldn't be paying it off during the billing cycle.&amp;nbsp; I was denied a CLI on my QS because I wasn't using enough credit.&amp;nbsp; What the deal is when i had only a $&lt;SPAN&gt;1300 card i would charge heavily like at xmas, etc but pay the card off as soon as it posted.&amp;nbsp; C1 apparently likes to see gigh cary over balances before they will consider giving you more credit.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

There are plenty of DPs around of people charging and paying in full without carrying any balances and still get CLIs, albeit not always large ones.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
