Got an invite about two weeks ago. I was denied. I kinda forgot about it since it is a SP.

Anyhow, got an email today indicating reason for the denial.

I heard they were not BK friendly at all (similar to BlockFi). So, how long ago was your BK filed or discharged?

At least, on the bright side, no HP.

The BK was discharged Oct. 2013.

Thus a DP ^^^ for those applying for the X1 with a BK still reporting.

But yah, since no HP @FinStar - I gave a shot at it.

My understanding, based on other reported [denial] DPs, it can take up to 30 days to receive the email notification.

Yeah, I just got my invite...social, income, submit....denied!

I don't know why except maybe a late payment 4 years ago and maybe too many recent cards.

Oh well...really only wante it because it is metal lol

I got denied, and the email indicating said it was do to my income. A few days later, they emailed me and said it was a mistake and invited me to reapply. Was approved with 27K SLI.

What is your income if you don't mind sharing? I gave my cousin one of my invite codes and she was denied for the same reason and her income is 53K. She has not heard from them for reconsideration. She applied on Dec 27th. I was approved on Dec 20th for 21.5K on a 65K income.

$82K. I was surprised when I got the initial denail. As soon as I was denied, I felt like I should have put my household income =/. It was a pleasant surprise to get the email telling me to reapply. FICO is 834.

I was denied with $72K income...I'm thinking now though that it might be because I have 3 recent inquires with 3 new card approvals.

When I linked my bank account, I don't know if they realized I made more than the 65K I put on my application. I am a non-exempt employee and made over 76K last year but my base salary is 65K so that is what I put on my application. The week I applied, it was my regular pay with no OT so I did not know if the system would quickly add my weekly pay and get the $65,420 that is my regular salary but I was close to $75K at the time of the application on 12/20 with 1 check left for the year that took me over $76K.
