Amex preapproval

I've had an Amex platinum since July of 2021. I want an Amex revolver. I'm going to check the preapproval to see if i am okay. What type of verbiage can I expect for preapproval or not?

If it says "Congrats! You're pre-approved!" or something to that effect while logged in, you're pretty solid. However, if it says "Expanding your membership is easy..." then unfortunately you're not pre approved at this time.

Excuse my ignorance, aside from the bonus, what is the reason you want to get a charge card over a revolver?
Asking for a friend.

I already have a charge card with Amex. I want a revolver with them also.
