does Citi Diamond Preferred pre-selected offer worth it?

So today I got mail pre selected for citi Diamond with 0 apr on purchases and BT for 21 months! Then 15.99 apr after that.
Is that a good deal?

A good deal, however the Citi DP isn't that great of a card. I got mine because of the balance transfer and it is the lowest limit that I have. It doesn't give cash back or rewards or anything like that. If you need a card to BT or a 0% interest card I would look at Discover first as it will give you rewards as well. See what else is out there.

I got a lesser offer: 18 mos 0 and 19.99 interest...just looking...came in mail today...very little cc balance at this time and don't think the Citi points system is beneficial, so I will probably pass...want that elusive AMEX revolver...waiting in the garden...

Today had a $10 Applebees card for 10 points. So far this is the first such deal I have been able to take advantage of but free $10 is a good deal since I go to Applebees anyways.

FWIW, earlier this month I also received a "pre-qualified" offer for this card.

Applied and was approved for $8.6K with 0% for 21 months and 16.99% after that.

Solid BT card IMO.

It's a good long zero percent offer to start.

As to the ongoing value of the card, I'm warming to mine. I asked a couple months ago if they had any new BT offers. "no". Then I got a BT offer in the mail. Then I got a "spend $500 on groceries, gas, dining and/or department stores and get 5% back up to $25 by June 30" so I'm working that one around Freedom Dining. All on a $1k Diamond Preferred and $1,500 Freedom CL

Checked the Citi Easy Deals yesterday, and those Easy Deal points are worth a full $1 discount if you are shopping for certain items they have. Yes, a full $1.
