So I recently applied to the sapphire preferred card to take advantage of the sign up bonus. I haven't opened a new CC in years, have a very good credit score and got the status message that my app would need further review? I called the recon line after about a week and they told me they needed to verify my address. I recently moved and provided them with the lease to my new place. Immediately the application went to the 2 week message. After about two days it has switched back to the 7-10 day message. Do you think I should call the recon line again? I'm just slightly confused as I thought it would be an immediate acceptance and now we're on week 3.
