topic Savor vs Savor One Credit Limit in Credit Card Applications

I'm preparing to apply to Capital One for either the Savor or Savor One card in the next few months. Pre-Covid we averaged about $10K a year on dining and entertainment. The last two years it has been about $8K. Experian FICO 8 is steady at about 720-740. My question is, all other things being equal, would I necessarily expect a larger CL, if approved, with Savor vs Savor One? I have read reports of approvals for Savor below $5K CL issued only as a World MasterCard. I have also read of approvals for Savor One above $5K CL issued as a World Elite MasterCard. With Capital One being a crap shoot about CL increases, I'd rather start out higher and not worry about their odd behavior with CL increases down the line. Even if our dining and entertainmet spend stay below the $9.5K break even point, I'm will to accept the slightly lower rewards after AF ($225 Savor vs $240 Savor One @ $8K spend) of the Savor if we had a higher initial CL. Any thoughts much appreciated.

So, regardless of which one you try, the limit will be based on your overall profile, creditworthiness, your scores, income, etc. Applying for one vs the other doesn't change what limit will be assigned, unlike cards like Venture or Venture One, for example, where Venture has a minimum starting line of $5K.

As Finstar said its a lot profile dependent. In november 2021 i was approved for the savor one 3k sl with a somewhat crummy credit history and a 36k yearly income. You didnt list your income which may be a factor, ymmv

As far as the savor one i love the zero af and the reward redemption is quick and easy, its one of my favorite cards, especially at the grocery store.

I dont like the high interest and you know cap 1's rep with cli's. my first cli was 100 bucks.
