Similar to Chase and the 5/24, BofA has a 3/12 rule for people who do not have any BofA accounts and 7/12 for those who do. There are some data points that show they are not necessarily as strict as Chase are with their 5/24. However if you have opened 5 cards this year so far, I would probably wait on the BofA. If those 2 you mentioned were the only ones, you stand a much better chance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As far as how many cards they let you have, I don't know. I think they used to have a rule that limited it to a certain amount every 24 months, but not sure what it is now. They do however have a limit as to the total credit they will extend you, so if you are already at that amount they probably won't issue another card.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
