This is interesting. There is another recent thread from someone who was told that there is a six-month rule for CLIs from GS Apple. I had mentioned in that thread that one will often get conflicting information from different CSRs and your post here seems to validate that. What is a "hard and fast" rule for one applicant may not be for another.

Sorry about the denial, but I'm sure you'll get one sooner or later!

It's been a little under 6 months since my last CLI with apple, so I got on a CSR chat and asked them what Apples policy is on time between limit increases. She said "There is no pre-determined limit, it depends on the applicants card history and credit"

I pulled the trigger...denied..reason was "You have recently received a credit limit increase on your Apple card"

I had the angel on my shoulder tell me "Just wait to be safe" but the CSR was pretty adamant that there was no need to. Should've trusted my gut.

I noted in that same thread that I'd called GS and inquired as to CLI timing as well. Was advised that there was not a hard and fast rule for 90 or 180 days, but that it'd be prudent to wait "at least" 90.
