Capital One CLI Reconsideration Line?

Is there a Cap 1 number to get a CLI request reconsidered? I was denied when I did the CLI request online and the letter referenced a 2 month old credit report. Since then my balance information and score has changed for the better. Score is 50 points higher on my credit report and my usage is about 10 percent of total credit.

To my knowledge, Cap One does not do recons. They are forgiving yet inflexible at the same time.

Yes. And it's unfortunately always a couple of months behind. No way to manually "force" them to update it.

It was easier getting my wisdom teeth pulled than it was getting an increase with capital one.

seems like if their computer says no, that's the only option.

they still serve a purpose so not bashing capital one but credit increases seem hard to get with them

My starting limit on c1 was $500. At 6 months they auto increased to $750. After 12 months, the cli button appeared in the app. I clicked it and they increased to $3750.

How long have you had your c1?

Note: I would run the card up to 50%+ usage twice a month and pif twice a month. I would assume the constant high usage and payoffs for a year helped with the bigger cli.

I never had the CLI button in the app. I did my CLI request shortly after my 8th statement cut via desktop.

It may not appear in the app until after 12th statement cut. That's when mine appeared anyways.

I was approved for my CLI but I doubt Cap 1 is giving me another CLI on the Venture One ever again. Pretty much simultaneous with the CLI was a permanent decrease in my spend on that card. SavorOne will be getting the majority of my spend for the forseeable future and hopefully they'll consider an increase on it after a similar amount of time.
