BOA CLI shennigans

Looked all over my online portal and mobile app to see where I could request a CLI on my card and there was nothing. I mean not a thing. Kinda strange but ended up calling in and requesting the increase. Shot for the moon and according to the lady on the phone, I will get a letter in 5-7 days. Maybe approved, maybe not. We will see.

If you see no change within 48-72 hours, then it was not approved. On the upside, SP so no harm, no foul.

strange to not see it on either the app or the website. The card is just over a year old.

was able to see this link when using an iPad and logging into the bofa website on all my credit cards

Yeah I looked all over and it was never there. They ended up declining me outright for an increase. Time to play the waiting game and see what happens in 6 months

I'm in a similar boat. I'm on the phone as we speak to try to get an increase. My account is only 3.5 months old but some people see the link from day 1.

The letter today said that card hasn't been open for a year and I have no banking relationship (fair BoA, I don't have any type of account except a credit card). I will be back soon enough to request a CLI.

I looked back in my documents and the card was opened at the beginning of Feb 2022. Maybe a day too early. Who knows. Timing can be funny thing

I've got a Cash Rewards card. To see the link to request a CLI, I click the View/Redeem link on the main page of the Accounts tab (default or home page).

Clicking that link navigates me to another page that lists my rewards and also includes a table with my total credit line, available credit and a link to request a CLI.

Appearance/non-appearance of the link doesn't indicate eligibility of CLI. There are DPs of CLIs being granted over the phone even when no link appears.

For whatever it's worth - I didn't get the luv button for my BoA account until my account was open for 2 years.

I did get a CLI at one year by calling (only 3k)
