I really don't think so anymore. If it asks you for the whole SS# instead of the last four digits then it's probably a 60/40 chance they'll hp your cr. What I'm not sure of is if it asks for last four concerning the store card version. If you received the preapproval which preapproval are they offering you? SC or MC.....because it does show you if you're considered for the MC version. It shows the mc logo and the verbiage is Master Cards credit card.

I was offered the MC.

It's gonna be a gamble. Shortly before the Pandemic, mf peeps were starting to report hp's with just the last four SS#. Since then I believe the SCT traffic has slowed down considerably here to give you a good idea- solid dp's. Comenity is now Bread Financial too.....so that may make a difference in whether the SCT is alive anymore or not. Just know, be prepared.....If you want the MC then brace yourself for a hp regardless of full or partial SS#. If you do go for it plz share your dp's.

I spoke to new accounts and they said they always pull all three reports all the time. She also said it's always been like that.
