Cap one CLI denial

DH has had the savor one card for 7 months, sixth statement cut on may 20. I figured to go for a CLI denied for account being too new 🙄.

I thought they would give at 6 months, guess not 😂.

I'd be curious when the most recent account review pulls were, maybe there hasn't been 6 account review credit pulls yet?

I definitely didn't get my $100 CLI until a tad bit after 6 months, took seven statements

What is the CL and how much did you request ? I kept getting denied until recently I requested 1k each QS and was instantly approved.

Well I always shoot for the moon 😂I don't have any cap one cards myself they are not my favorite bank .

I have an outstanding history with Cap1 and under 15% usage on all cards and my CLI last week was met with a $250 offer. They are back to their sub par CLIs. Chances you get a triple increase are slim to none right now based on what I am seeing.

Sorry to hear about the denial! I saw @GZG reply about it taking a little longer than 6 months for them to get an increase. They're not the first person I've seen say something like this. Since it's a soft pull if your DH tries again in a little bit they might get the limit increase! Best wishes to them if they do try again!

Well I thought maybe since it's a SP try for a little lower . Nope now they give this reason , so glad I closed my cap one cards awhile back they are full of 💩

I was denied on my SavorOne after the 6th statement for being too new as well, but got approved for a small increase after 8th statement. I asked for a $3000 bump and got a counteroffer of $300. My other slightly older cap one card got approved for a CLI after its 8th statement as well.

@Aim_High Thanks no real loss but kinda frustrating as his report is unlocked and available. We put quite a bit of spend through it. ,now it will make its way to the sock drawer binder .
