Psecu one week and membership application still pending

I applied in 5/19 and called 3 days later. Customer service stated that it's still pending. As of today the online status is the same(still pending). Anyone know how long this process takes?

Requested this to be moved wrong forum .

It can takes several days sometimes a week with them . You applied on a Friday so they probably didn't even look at it until Monday .

Maybe just applying for membership takes longer. I just applied for a personal loan on Wednesday 5/24 (no prior relationship) and my status said pending. They called me within a few hours requesting two paystubs which I uploaded right away and I received the approval a few hours later. The next day my account was opened and loan funds deposited. Quick and easy! I'm very happy with them so far.

They did the same thing to me and then just closed out the application and said "unable to verify, come in person".

I've got better things to do than head to Harrisburg, PA.

They finally approved me for 12k founders card.

I applied after membership but was told that it would be a lot quicker if I would applied for both at same time.

congrats that you got it!

in general we need to lower our expectations (timing) when dealing with CUs

they are definitely slower than the big banks - but the benefits usually outweigh the time we have to wait..
