Does Cap1 counter or should i ask for 2,000 on the safe side?

On the CLI's they ask for you to fill in. I go with a small to moderate CLI for a better shot. But thats just me.

Ask for the max you want. Process is computer driven; no humans involved and no opportunity to override/recon.

I think you can go for the max as @NoMoreE46 mentions and the computer will come back with what it's willing to offer. I was counter-offered the first time I shot for the moon and decided to take what the computer spit out. You can always decline the counter and try again perhaps when you think your spending/profile matches could get a better response.

I decided to try this morning instead of waiting until Monday, I have a 9 year old CO dropping on Friday (Experian) and wasnt sure how my scores would react. I didnt accept it and Ill try again in September when another baddie falls off Transunion.
