Another Amex CLI Denial

Got denied for the second time when requesting a CLI on my BCP. Given that Amex usually says no to CLIs anytime you have a BK7 on your report I'm not surprised, but figured since I was updating income I'd give it a shot again. I'm not expecting anything until late 2027 when it falls off, but I'll rinse and repeat in another 6 months. Right now all it looks like they want to give me is a personal loan (of which I don't want or need). Also, as an aside, I kinda wish they would stop using the 7-10 day message when it only takes a couple hours till you see the denial letter when you log in.

With a BK7 on your report and how much Amex has tightened up, I'd consider yourself lucky to even have a card. Give it some time before asking for more

I have a bk7 on my report and have had CLI on both of my Amex cards so that is not completely accurate.

@CreditPoorI'm going to keep asking every 6 months until it falls off or until the budge. With it being a soft pull there's really no harm. While they won't give me a CLI, they keep offering me a preapproval for a personal loan that I don't want or need.

They denied me a CLI for BK7 on my report as well. Just keep on trying and good luck for next time.
