Yeah from what I have read auto increases are rare with Capital One and Wells Fargo but a lot of success happens with CLI requests with both from what I have read and personal experience with Capital one even though they can be a strange beast at times when it comes to limit increases . I found one post where someone got a limit increase with Wells after just 1 month by request.

Found another post where someone requested one after just 3 months and got approved so I was hoping to find some more info on this.

Either way in the end ill end up calling and asking and ill post all my dps on the matter . Just wanted to see if it is rare to get one before 6 months or if it's actually common if you just call and ask.

I have had my active cash with Wells Fargo for about 3 months now and am wanting to increase the limit since i have found myself using the card quite a bit. Does anyone know how soon is too soon with Wells? Does card type matter when requesting a CLI in specific time frames? Is there a minimum amount of time before you can get a approved CLI request with Wells Fargo? If anyone has any experience with getting approved or denied for a CLI request with wells on a new account please share any info you have.

I really appreciate any information about this and thank you very very much in advance

Mileage always varies but I have two cards with them. I got the platinum in 2017 and didn't get an increase until 2020 (for $500), which I had to call and request. I've had the Propel (now Autograph) since 2020 and I have not received an auto increase. All of my cards besides Wells Fargo and Capital One have grown.
