Consistent CLI amount?

I have two cards that seemed to be locked in with respect to the dollar amount given from a CLI request.

I am not always successful with my requests but whenever I am granted the increase, the amount is fixed.

DP:
Discover has been at $2,000, four times.

PNC Points has been at $5,000, three times.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this consistency/pattern with any of your cards’ CLI?

The only cards I have that I've requested CLIs from are my More Rewards which was $7900 the first time, because I had an odd SL and wanted an even CL. The next one was for $8k which most people know is Navy's current max amount.

The other was my red Disco which came after being kind of prodded into it by a certain someone (clears throat) . That resulted in them doubling my limit... Everything else has come via auto CLIs

So yeah, I'm of no help here.

I'll state the obvious, NFCU's $8K CLIs were handed out like candy in the past

Yes I used to be locked in at $300 per CLI. We called it the SJ Special. @AverageJoesCredit was locked in at $500 each; we called that the AJC Special.

Since opening my Citi Custom Cash in 2021, I've received 5 increases. All of them were $2k each.

SL: $7,600

CL: $17,600

A few months ago, I got a CLI for $4000 from NFCU - less than the $8000 de rigueur that @pizzadude noted as well.

I guess that missing out on that full $8000 and seeing the pattern of the PNC and Disco was the impetus of this thread.

FYI, I may or may not recollect that... Guilty.

My Venture Rewards cli(s) started off with 1K, then 4K, then 1.5K but since then, the most recent 4 CLI's have all been 1K no matter the spending patterns. I should be eligible for an increase at the end of this month, let's see if Capone gives another 1K. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that Capone has been generous bc I know it can be all over the place bucketed or not.

Ahhh, those were the days. We also had the @joltdude Special and the @BrutalBodyShots Special . We had some fun trying to figure out if it were monkeys or chimps throwing those darts

My Citi cards CLI seem to be locked in as well.

Custom Cash = $2,000 (twice)

Amer Airlines = $2,500 (twice)
