With 4 new accounts opened in the past 12 months your chances at a Citi card are exceedingly slim. With Bank of America they are virtually non-existant as BofA has a 3/12 limit for new customers (relaxed to 7/12 for existing customers). Some do slip through so odds are rarely zero but unless you already have accounts with BofA I wouldn't risk wasting the HP. Reconning Citi can't hurt anything so I'd go ahead and try but don't be surprised if they turn you down. (Based on info posted elsewhere in this forum.)

Hi everyone,

I applied for CITI simplicity and it was a decline. I called the Recon line but they needed me to wait for the letter and then call.

Current stats are;

EXP 756

Uti 10%

INQ 4

New Accounts 0/6, 4/12

AAOA 9 Years

Do I have a chance in Recon?

Also I am planning to apply for BoA Premier Card.
