Affect on credit score of upgrading a credit card

Hi thanks for taking the time to look. I was wondering if upgrading/converting a credit card with a provider, i.e. where the card product changes but the underlying card account/credit limit from the provider does not change, has any impact on credit score? Example: swapping an Amex gold for an Amex platinum. (I don't know if that works in the US, but it does in my home country.)

Upgrading a CC will almost never result in any impact to your score / reports. The only situation where this might happen is if a provider closes your card and opens a brand new card, which isn't technically an upgrade.

I did amex bce to bcp and capone qs to savor, no effect.
