Macy's Credit Card?

Used Macy's online to check a couple times to see where my credit was at and if Citi would let me back in using their pre-qual page. Never accepted the offers and got tons of emails afterwards reminding me that I still have an offer but now I got two weird letters today in the mail from them saying:

Welcome! You have been approved for a Macy's Credit Card account. Your card will arrive within the next several days. I never even accepted the offers so now I'm confused. Anyone else experience this?

Oops, maybe tapped wrong button? Did they approve the store card or amex version?

It says it was for a store card. Finally got through to customer service and I don't have a card. They couldn't explain why the letters told me I had a card coming. They did ask if I wanted to still accept the pre-approval. I seem to be getting all the glitches lately.
