Submitted an application today and finally received an approval for 4500. It's quite a bit lower than what I was expecting so I called Goldman Sachs but it was a no go. If I decline the offer, do any of you know how long I have to wait before I reapply? Thanks

So one Goldman is on the way out. They can't shake this card fast enough. It has not been determined who will manage it next.

Anyhow take it. Apple Card is one wierd beast imo. They desire a very high churn of spending and paying it off, carrying balances to ever approve more. The card will allow you to go over your maximum credit limit if you are buying Apple gear direct.

For myself the only years I ever got a CLI with them is from financing say a iPhone and paying it off in a couple months. Years I have some spend but am paying it off as it accrues nothing. Recently asked for a CLI and response was not enough utilization with present credit.

Then the other thing...how great is this card anyhow? 2% for everyday purchases 3% for Apple products but Apple products do not cover 99% of your life. Many many many other cards that are superior imo.

If you are veteran good way to save some cash on Apple stuff is google Apple Military Sales 10% off from that, click refurbished at the bottom for additional savings on products and buy Apple gift cards with a Amex Blue Cash Preferred for 6% cash back.

I've been trying to increase my Apple card's limit for a few months. It's currently at $6500. Mixed spending on it. Sometimes a few hundred and sometimes a few thousand per month. I keep getting this message - You have not used and paid enough of your Apple Card credit limit since your last credit limit increase.

I actually tried again about 10 minutes before reading this thread. I believe many others get this message too. This is my history with the card -

Apple Card - $2700 (5/8/24) - Auto CLI - $5500 (6/23/24) - Requested CLI - $6500 (1/8/25)

Some people apply while making a purchase. That $4500 limit seems decent and may grow. Or, if you are going to make a purchase of $5000 or more, maybe wait until them to see if you get approved for a higher limit.
