topic Anyone ever see a Capital One CLI disappear? in Credit Card Applications

I have some old bucketed Cap1 cards that get $100-$200 increases every 6 - 9 months. I usually transfer the credit line to my Savor card when they do, keeping them down at $500.

Well yesterday two of my Quicksilver cards got 'generous' $100 CLI's again, so I moved $100 over from one card to the Savor, then when I went to the second card, the account was no longer showing the $100 CLI. I checked it again this morning, and yeah, despite receiving a $100 CLI yesterday, it's still at $500.

Anyone ever get a CLI rescinded like this?

You could probably do better their than continuing to play the $100 CLI game with Capital one. Are these credit card secured or unsecured cards ?

I've never personally experienced this, but it could theoretically happen for many reasons.

capital one does account reviews each year, these often come with credit limit decreases. if you haven't opted out, they could have decreased your limit.

is also possible they pulled your report and saw something they didn't like on one of your other accounts

There's also a chance they pulled your information from "the work number" ajd saw sometbing they didn't like on that.

the fact that you got decreased right after an increase is very strange, but theoretically possible.
