I had a similar file and they gave me a $500 limit in July of 2025. I've been putting 90% utilization every month and paying in full... maybe I'll get an increase after my 6th statement closes.

Best of luck! I think your chances aren't great but it is still possible.

Ill give an update.

In early July and late August I got two new credit cards. Then in December I got the American Express BCE at a limit of 15k. After that I recieved the Fidelity promotion for $150 SUB in the mail in Junaury and I decided to apply. Recall I was at 3/6 in inquiries. Suprisingly I got a credit limit of 22k!

I am unsure what factors were present but my credit score when applying for Fidelity was 762 with 3/6 inquiries and oldest account at 3 years and 1 month with an average of 1 year and 5 months. I have a hunch that because I work in insurance (as an actuary) I am considered a lower risk class which couldve contributed to not getting the $500 limit that some get. Also I constantly contribute to my 401k and Roth IRA in Fidelity if that has an impact.

Currently I am at 4/12 inquiries and am reaching the 5/24 chase rule. I will probably apply to get the citi custom cash in late 2026 and try to get another custom cash with a downgrade on another citi card. Then once I am under 5/24 again I will try to get the Amazon Prime Visa with a 6 month trial young adult free trial so that I can get really good cashback and a really sweet amazon gift card bonus. If anyone has more questions let me know.
