Walmart One card

I tried to prequalify for the card via the Walmart app. I had Trans Union and Experian unfrozen. The results said I was pre qualified but no credit limit was shown. All the other information such as rate etc shows. I have tried it several times same result. Any ideas of what might be the problem?

You don't always see a credit limit with pre-qual. They probably just aren't evaluating for that yet. Just getting pre-qualified is the most important thing, since it means you have high approval odds.

@AndySoCal try unlocking the EQ one also. I think I had them all unlocked when I did the prequalifier. This card has been showing the amount before you accept. If it does not show give them a call before you pull the trigger. Good luck.

I had posted about this about 2 weeks ago unlock EQ. They SP my EQ instead of TU.

I don't think I was shown a credit limit before during pre-approval either. In fact, I am not sure I have ever had a card application show me that. I have had OnePay Mastercard about a month and have really grown to like it. I don't carry the card at all, but just use it for Walmart+ stuff. The 5% is pretty nice. I've already gotten almost $100 bucks back, although $35 of that was their sweet, fat, juicy SUB.

I prequalified using the Walmart desktop web site. It showed me the non-Mastercard version and a $5k limit. Meanwhile my Capital One Walmart Mastercard had a $22k limit, so no thanks Synchrony.

Are you talking about the The OnePay Walmart Spend Card? Odd that you got that high of a CL on that. I only got $4k on the OnePay CashRewards Card which is a better card, right?

FWIW Synchrony pulled Equifax. When I looked my Equifax credit report it reminded me my Capital One Walmart Card had 3000 credit limit.

Same for me as i stated earlier there SP EQ now instead of TU.

I know when I applied the HP landed on TransUnion. However I have heard that they will look into Equifax sometimes. Having it locked will cause things to not work right sometimes. You can either unlock it and try the pre-qual again or if you really want the product you can just apply normally. Worst they can do is give you a denial.

They pulled Equifax for me back in November.

For me it was a hard pull Equifax by Synchronny Financial Services

@NoMoreE46 Yes I did. The decision was easy Redstone 3% cash back for discount stores which my Walmart VCC code says it ends in mid January. I go from three percent to 1.5%. With One Pay I will receive five percent because I am a Walmart plus member.

Sorry for the delayed reply, but yes, it was 100% the OnePay Walmart Spend card, not the Mastercard version.
