hello i plan on applying for venture x cap1 keeps recommending to me.. few questions do you get your $300 travel credit and 10k miles immediately when opening ? then receive the additional 75k promo after 4k spend in 3 months? and how do you completely maximize using this card? i hear about transfer to international miles or something for better deals but it all sound like a different language to me.. lol can someone elaborate please... how do YOU you use you venture x?

The first year's $300 travel credit is available on day 1. The 10k annual bonus miles starts on first card member anniversary.

The Venture X offers access to transfer partners. Credit card transfer partners let you convert your credit card rewards (miles or points) into airline miles or hotel points—often at a 1:1 ratio—to book travel for outsized value. This opens up the possibility of unlocking superior value by booking flight and hotel awards with transfer partners by transferring points.

Also, if you travel, you can get 10x points booking hotels in their travel portal and 5x on flights. This can be pretty lucrative. And they offer price matching, so usually you can count on a fair price.

Match Hertz Presidential status with National and/or Sixt's equivalent. Cell phone protection through Visa Infinite mmv depending on how many lines you have. TSA/Global fee credit. Keep an eye on C1 offers much better than C1 shopping offers. Use your 1x calendar year visit at a Chase lounge mmv on getting in on certain busy travel days. The Premier and Lifestyle 4th night free and be useful. Only experience is with the Viceroy in Cabo San Lucas. Always call and confirm the hotel/car rental reservation through the portal are showing in the hotel/car rental internal system. I prefer to book my flights directly with the airline or to use a C1 offer that can make up the 3% difference. Great card if you are semi-regular traveler especially if there is a C1 lounge where you frequent. The lounge nerf really cleared out DEN to the point where you could just walk in on MLK holiday no less. Hear the same about DFW and will see Vegas later this year.
