FWIW: I've no Capitol One cards from prior to their acquisition of Discover.

I'm considering a CLI request for a Discover it card. My spend on the card has been 99.9% category and not all of them are usually applicable for me. October 2022 I got a $6000 CLI bringing my limit to $11k. No CLI requests since.

Only prior DP I can think of is disco heavy use helped pave the way to their kindness. (imagine that!)

Aside from disco cards Cap1 dropped, have DPs changed in any signifcant ways for Discover cards?

Any disco CLI advice welcome, thanks!

Others on the forum can attest to this, but if you use the credit limit increase request in the app or website, it's a soft pull with no impact to your credit. Another user mentioned having 100 denial letters with no adverse action on their credit whatsoever!

I just did a CLI request for my Discover it card through the website; I was denied with no inquiry. I say go for it in the app/website. Worst case scenario is a "no" with no credit impact.

Seems like business as usual with disco in this (website/app) regard for the time being.
