Wf secured at 500, chase freedom at 1200. Wf since May 2014, Chase since August 2014. Scores..704 Tu.. 736 eq and 713 ex.. 3 inq on tu.. 1 on eq and 3 on ex..
Really itchy to app! Suggestions?

For some reason.. I don't like amex..because when I travel ..a lot of places in Asia don't seem to accept them. Just checked..I have a prequal on qs visa (not signature!) Says no annual fees..probably has a lot CL..prequal on discover too..but I guess everyone has that! Is that qs going to be a low limit card? Ideas?

I'd just go for a Venture and PC it to a Quicksilver before the AF hits if you really wanna go that route.

See if you prequal for a Cap1 Venture. Seems like everyone can get $5k or $10k. Don't know how they'll view a thin file like yours, but I think Capital One might take a chance.

What interest rate is the pre qual for the QS showing? If it's on the lower end, that frequently indicates a decent credit line. You can ignore Discover. Everybody gets the same thing.

I would try for venture, honestly. if you're too nervous, QS is a darn good card, IMO

The other card I'm considering is the chase Amazon visa and for a possible amex ..delta sky miles gold

Both are great cards, with roughly equal chances of approval. It comes down to what rewards program is best for you.

Discover too. I see a lot of people have that card, seems to be a popular option! (No foreign transaction fee and no AF helps too!)

There is too much chance of a so-so approval with the QS. Go for the gold or go home.

I got the offer in the mail which says, QS Visa, No Annual Fee and access to higher credit line in the first 5 months or something, I'm just afraid that's going to mean a triple pull for a squaky small limit, discover would probably be higher..(hopefully), what do you think?

Resisting the urge! Staying in the garden with that advice.

I also have checking + savings with Chase at around 15K at the moment, wondering if that's going to help if I try for the CSP at *some* point
