AMEX Auto CLI. Reset timing on request?

Good Afternoon All,

I recently got a nice little CLI from AMEX, from 3k to 4800. This is great since I asked for a CLI about two and a half months ago and was auto denied due to a collection on my record (deleted, company never responded to dispute of CFPBA Complaint and I still don't know what it was for).

Now my question, does the auto CLI I received from AMEX reset the time that I can ask for a CLI? I was going to go with the 3x method and hopefully get about 15k. Would prefer to not to have to wait another three months of possible.

It will not reset the clock. Go ahead and request for $14,400

No. I've seen someone claim getting an auto cli and 3x requested cli in 24 hours.

Here's one recent example of getting Auto Luv and still requesting and receiving 3X.

I think this is still going to be your time limiting factor.

The Auto CLI will not change your timing for "how much time between when I last requested and can next request", meaning it will not reset or interrupt any clock that I am aware of. I thought there was a 90-day wait after such a CLI request denial, like you got 2.5 months ago, besides the 6-month (if another request was granted a CLI, which seems not to be the case here).
