AMEX APPLICATION STATUS

Hi , recently I apply for AMEX Delta Skymiles,, denied first with system then asked for recon. The systems still shows " in process" when I call they told me that I was declined again, Why the system is still showing "in process"? Any clues?

Most likely just a delay in updating. Did the recon denial happen recently?

What it says online is the fact regardless of what is happening-!!

Yours is still showing IN PROGRESS right?

Not necessarily. Some declined applications after reconsideration can take a while to update. In some cases 5-7 days. If the OP receives the 2nd letter of denial, then that would be the affirmative confirmation, regardless what reflects on the website. So, OP, wait for the letter unless some magical unicorn changes the website status to APPROVED.
