barclay ring 7th statement no cli! :(

Hi guys my 7th statement on my ring card cut lastnight, no auto cli luv for me!!! Which sucks because I love this card, and this 2k credit limit would be so much better at 10k lol. Guess I'll be patient and hope next month I get some barclay auto luv!!! Definitely not taking a hard pull on a cli! Has anyone recieved an auto cli on their 7th statement?

Creditors do not simply give out credit in exchange for time. They may have patterns like 7th statement where they tend to give CLI but its still based on perceived risk and other factors

You may have hit your max for the time being for that card. All you can do is patiently wait, use it and pay it off. Or take a HP CLI. But no guarantee

Never assume you'll get a CLI at x amount of statements. You'll be disappointed.

Yea your right!!! I was just hoping I was apart of that pattern since I have pretty good credit, and fico scores! Maybe they didn't like my new chase united card, and capital one venture card, with 15k limit on my united card, and 10k on my venture. Thanks for the response greatly appreciated!

If I was the op I would apply for the US air Mastercard. Get the sign up bonus and move most of the limit over to your ring card.

I got my Sallie Mae Jan 29, 2015 and my 1st statement cut February 13th.

Put 55 swipes on it and $5,500 thru it ( purchases and BT ) and first payment of $1,400 was made Feb 20th.

Feb 20th got CLi of $2k and haven't had the card a month yet.

Use the the mess out of your card. Max it out , let it post to your reports one time then after that keep running it up to

the limit and pay it down to your desired ult % before statements cut.

Wow CONGRATS!!!! I can't do that right now. I have a 2000 spending bonus to acheive on my chase united, and 3000 on my venture. I opened both cards on Feb 1st!

Oh ok,but when you get a chance, try that. That's what I did on my Rewards card.

SL $1,300.... Max it out to $1,280. Let it hit the reports. Then paid it in full.

then I ran $2,500 a month ( with multiple payments during the billing cycle ) through the card for 4 cycles then the 5th cycle didn't use it at all.

the night of 6th cycle cut and got a $1,300 increase. I hope you get some love while you meeting ur spend bonus. That would be a great bonus too!!!

hey, call in and ask for a account specialist. Then ask him if you have any offers or promotions on ur account.

i called yesterday trying for a APR reduction but a no go but before he ended the convo, he said I did have a offer for a sp CLi if I'd like

to take it.

Ive had sm for 3 weeks and my account already had a CLi offer via sp . Please try it. You owe it to yourself to at least try..

never know til you ask. If you decide to try, let us know how it went.

Ok great, I have my fingers crossed for you. Remember to tell the CSR youd like speak to a Account Specialist . If they ask why just say about

your APR or something. Then once your on with him , ask if your account have any offers or promotions on it.

I've been putting all my spend on my Arrival+ since December (had the card since September, I think?), and no CLI yet. Wahhhhhh!

Hey score it was a no go for me, spoke with an account specialist and she said I had no offers or promotions available on my account. She did say I was handling my account great, and that I should see an offer available in the future! Hey thanks again score! The cli is more of a want than a need! So no hard feelings towards barclay, but I better see something before I hit 1 year with the card. Lol

Point of information ... there is an option on the Barclays website for you to order replacement cards. Just in case the plastic wears off the card

9 months since my statement cut and no auto CLI on my rign card either. I guess they did not like the fact that I have opened few other new accounts with higher limits than Barclays...

I'm definitely doubting a cli now ! 9 months smh! Have u been using the heck out of the card also? Also what's your credit limit?
