Approval odds Chase Freedom

I wouldlike to get the Chase Freedom, to take advantage of the 5% cash back catagories. I currently have a 680 TU, 660 EQ, 635 EX(all are myfico.com scores) also my Capital One Credit Tracker has me listed as a 660.Also I do not have any late payments, and my AAOA is 11 months as of three weeks ago, might have gone up but I dont know. I have three credit cards; Wells Fargo College rewards card with a $700 limit and about 8% utilization that I have had since 2/14, a Capital One Journey with a $500 limit and 1% utilization that I have had since 3/14, and a Capital One Quicksilver One with a $300 limit and 2% utilization and I have had it since 10/14. I wouldlideally like to get the Freedom card, however if I do not have a chance at that card, I am looking at the Discover It Student or Citi Thank you Preffered Student card.If yall have any advice about what would be easiest to get and what order I should go about applying for any of these cards it would be helpful. Or even what I shouldn't apply for because I won't have much luck at all. Another thing to mention is that I am in college full time, I have about $8,000 in student loans after two full years, and I work part time making about $18,000 a year, with about $6,000 of living expenses paid by my parents(rent and half of utilities). Do yall think I would get accepted for any of these cards?

Hi there,

I actually just got approved today for the freedom. I'm also a student, I have a bit higher score, but you seem to have a better history and more accounts than me.

I reccomend you check out Credit karma, it's a soft inquiry so it doesnt hurt anything, but what I like is that it gives you an indication of your approval chances based on your info. Also reccomended cards, you seem to know what you want though

I also have a Disover it card, they gave me about a third of what chase gave me for a credit limit, but I love it. The website is very intuitive and easy to get info from, has a spending analyzer, etc...

Also on the app for chase, you would add the 18,000 and 6,000 together for income, which is in the ball park of what I put as well. So I think your chances are good, but i do Recommend Credit karma, it wouldnt hurt to see what they say about your odds

Credit Karma recommendations are for promotional purposes and scores and card recommendations from there should not be factored in when deciding to apply. Check the credit pull database and it will give you a general ideal of what scores people were approved at, income etc...

Check from this site what your Fico scores are as Chase uses these scores in addtion to their internal score to determine whether to approve an applicant or not.

I went ahead and bit the bullet and decided to apply, I WAS APPROVED!!! a $4,000 limit, my highest so far by a long shot! it feels great! Thanks to everyone who helped me!

Take Credit Karma with a grain of salt.

They are just pushing cards on there based on where money swings in from.

They are good for monitoring basically. Anything else I do not use them for.

Yep. They said my chances for the Freedom were very good. Applied. Denied. On the plus side, I didn't use their referral link, so they got nothing for their lame recommendation.
