Is it true that you can only app for 2 chase cards at once? If you want a 3rd card you have to wait 30 days since the first app.

2 apps at most in 30 days. Try doing any more than that and you're guaranteed to get crappy results.

You can apply for 2 at a time if your credit file supports it. There is no 30 day requirement AFAIK but Chase will probably want to see use on the other cards first before approving another one.

Does this rule-of-2 apply even if your first application is denied? I know Chase has the checkbox to indicate whether you were denied credit from them within the past 6 months. I don't know if your response to that plays a major role in the application decision though since I've never had to check that I was denied.

Never seen such a check box, maybe cause I have done maianly pre-quals? There is a checkbox about baddies, that is the only one I am aware of with chase. Granted interally they know this stuff

I applied for the Southwest Airlines card and the Disney Chase card a few months ago and got approved. I however also applied for the Disney Premiere Visa card but I got a letter saying that they wanted me to call this number with this reference code. I may consider getting the Slate one or the Amazon one (which I think it is issued by them)

I applied for Freedom and Slate within 24 hours of each other. (only resulted in one HP). Freedom was automatically approved.. Slate I called and the CSR stated that anymore than 2 CC apps within 30 day will automatically get the 7-10 day message. I was approved for both regardless but as always YMMV.

in my opinion i applied for 2 CSP and Freedom within the same week and i believe i got only one pull.

just check CK and yes got one pull
