One more question before I app.

So I'm going to app today for the amex BCP. I wanted to know if, as an existing green cardholder, I would be eligible for the cash back offer (spend 1k in 3 months get 150 CB). I ask because when I went to the site it didn't mention this, the site knows I'm already a member of that makes any sense. Should I app on another computer or on my phone without being signed in, or will I be alright to just go ahead and app regularly because I'll receive the bonus anyway. Also what is the lowest limit I can get in the BCP? I have a few 5k cards. The reason I ask is because I have balances on some of my other cards and don't want this to effect the initial limit I get on the BCP. Also these are new balances not carried balances, i always pay in full.

As far as i know i think you can still get the bonus as long as you didn't have the BCE or BCP cardor did and its been closed for 2 years? Amex might be different about that though.

Also if signed in and apply and in the event of denial then its SP. If not signed in, not sure if it makes a difference or not since your already a member.

Lowest limit i have seen for their Credit Cards are $500 but i think you will be fine and you can always triple the limit after 61 days and again at 180 days.

@skye12329 you bring up a good point about being signed in vs not being signed and whether it counts as a hard pull. My just have to app signed in

I think if you app in normal window, it will result in SP if you are denied 'cause you are a cardmember already.

first. think about it like this. if you do it incognito. it will automatically be hard pull. and even if you don't when you get approved it will be hp no matter what. so that is irrelevent to say the least. you want the card. i would say clear cache and cookies or do it un signed in and get the bonus. to need to chance it. rather you sign in or not. your computer will identify you as current Amex member. and if you are signed in. and not approved. sp. but the moment they approve you bonus or not. hp.
