Amazon visa app??

"Unfortunately, an immediate decision about your application can not be provided as it requires further review. You will be notified in writing about the status of your application within 30 days."

this is the message I got when I applied. Is it good/bad/ maybe??

Just search for the Chase backdoor number to contact them tomorrow. Sometimes it can be a verification issue, but not always. So let's stick with "maybe" and call them tomorrow to find out - you might be surprised!

+1 same message I gotta yesterday for the freedom. I called they wanted verification that I am me. Asked to send driver license copy.

Call into the credit line this morning listed on backdoor threads and give your social to follow up and more than likely your app is in "Verification" they will transfer you and you will answer 3 public record questions and then they will issue you the approval and amount.

CA. I did that yesterday. They did not tell me approved or amount. They wanted copy of license. Do I ask again when I call today. As I faxed everything yesterday. I just want to know. One way or the other

Thanks. So when I call and set did you get documents. And they say yes. Should I say what is my status then?

They will probably give it to you if they received the docs... Although I think when my partner had to do it, it took about a week to process through system so you might not have an approved status yet... Don't fret

It's a no go. Anyone have the BEST recon number??? " to many new accounts" decent payment history but they would like to see a little bit more.

CA I'm as disappointed as you are. Chase will not let me in! Now I'm upset, wasted an inquiry with nothing to show for it, I wanted a visa to add to the collection!!!,! Dang it!

Right, this could be two different scenarios though. In taxi818's case, they asked for verification docs. OP, if that was not the case for yours, then it was likely a straight denial. You can try your chances with reconsideration again but they pretty much document everytime you call them. If you have a lot of new recent accounts or inquiries, the chances don't look as favorable - YEMV.
