Got my denial letter from BBVA Compass

well I got my letter for the reasons of denial: Unable to Verify Indentifying Information, never got one of these before, EX pulled 793 Score, I called the backdoor number and they are closed on the weekends, any help from the forum members would be greatly appreciated

Probably they need to verify your information, give them a call back on Monday and find out

I was able to talk to a supervisor at BBVA in the Amex dept,And told me that I would need to send a letter to their fraud dept,I have included copies of my DL,SSN and a utilty bill ,He mentioned that I have tier one credit and should have been approved for a high credit limit based on my income ,I pullled my EX and I don't see any problems on it,The only thing I can think of is that they may not be reading my address correctly

I wouldn't sweat it. BBVA wants your business and they will make it happen assuming you provided proper information. Good luck and let us know how it turns out

Did you verify that they pulled Ex, do you know which version, Ex04, 08, etc? How about Eq or TU?

My 7-10 reply MAY be due to Ex on ice, can't remember the exact 2 week window I had submitted to unfreeze in late March and they didn't pull Ex. Unfortunately, can't BD Eq or TU

Ron, The supervisor that works in the amex dept,told me to write a letter and send proof of indenity to their fraud dept,so i sent in copies of my DL,SSN, and a utility bill,BBVA pulled EX, so i pulled it and checked it out myself i see no problems,The supervisor told that i should have been approved with a high limit as i have tier one credit 793 on EX, I think the long file i have could be a problem or they are not reading my address correctly

I called BBVA and spoke with a supervisor and they gave me an address and a name but told me that the person could only tell me specirfically why my application was denied due to unable to verify identifying information. They said that there is no reconsideration process. The only way to do it again is to submit another application. I'll have to pass on BBVA.

I too got my denial letter today from BBVA Compass.

The reason cited for the denial "unsatisfactory Credit History".......?

Only thing on my EX report is a paid charge off from First Premier Bank. No other baddies, lates, etc.

FICO was 679 when they pulled EX report.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Don't know if calling would help. If they are looking at a paid charge off as unsatisfactory then they have tightened up their requirements or they were not honest in the denial reasons.
