NASA or PenFed checking

Not really sure where to put this so feel free to move it to the right place.

Anywho, I was wondering if there are any members here that have either NASA or PenFed or both checking account and how do you like it? I'm thinking of opening a checking account with one of these and wanted some feedback as far as customer service and such. Thanks

I have one with PenFed but it's too new and I dont have that much money in it to give an opinion. Overall think I would tend to go with PenFed over NASA as they seem to have their act together more so than NASA.

@I agree with @Anonymous. I have the penfed checking and they have become my favorite CU. As long as you are within the 20 day grace period, it is a SP.

Yes.. As long as you are within the 90 days, it is only 1 HP. they pulled EQ for me.

5 new, actually 6 but Diners doesn't report, all from Nov '14 EQ is my lowest at 740 right now since I let Discover report a balance of $1200

Will membership be an instant thing or is that something that has to be reviewed also? Oh and if I'm approved for membership should I apply for the CC right away or wait?

Membership is instant and once you are approved, apply for any product you want and don't wait..

Okay membership done, APPROVED!! now do I stay logged in and app for the CC or stay logged out? I'd like to open a checking with them also, do it now or later?

Ok did the checking, then did the CC and it said referred to loan officer and to check status in 24hrs. Is that normal or does that sound like a decline?

It referred to a loan office is not bad. Keep checking today as although it says 24 hours, it can change with an hour or 2... The Thrifty credit is overdraft protection for your checking account. It does not hurt to have it when you need to make a large purchase.
