Can I app for 2 Am Ex cards w/1pull?

I was just approved for am ex everyday card but the pre qualify on their web site says I am also pre approved for every day prefered card. I herd they would use same pull is this correct?

Has to be a charge card and revolver, not 2 revolvers in order to get just 1 pull.

Charge card aka Green card, PRG, Platinum ... cards you're supposed to not carry a balance on.

New here - but I just apped for PRG and EDP. Approved for both (PRG instant, EDP pending - took a day or so) but TWO pulls on EX.
