Trying To Stop From App'n....HELP!!!!!!

hi, I'm trying to resist the want to App. These are my recent Apps

Jan. - Sallie Mae @ $9,600 - $3,300/&9,600 0% apr

March - Freedom @ $3k - $1,300/$3k 0% apr

BOA Travel rewards @ $2k - $0/$2k 0% apr

BOA BBR @ $10k - $1,400/$10k 0% apr

April - RBFCU CC @ $15k $3k/$15k 0% apr

RBFCU PLOC @ $10k 8.9% apr

RBFCU car refi

Venture @ $15k ( app 4/13/15 . Pulled EX & TU )

Sallie Mae and Freedom is only 2 that has reported so far

I'm trying to stop from App'n for the QS VS. it's so tempting to. I keep telling myself " Just one more " ....

"this is my last one " . Ughhhhhh

EX is Thawed u til April 30th - 723 with 16 inquiries.... 1 writhin last 9 months.

EQ is frozen and will stay frozen - 683 with 0 inquiries

TU never frozen - 740 with 3 inquiries. All from this month.

ober all UTL - 8%

highest individual out of 4 balances - 35%

All FICO scores.

Capital one will pull EX & TU for me for approval as they did for Venture last week.

Should I or should I not app ?

I pm hoping I would get a high limit but seems like most folk end up with $5k on their 2nd app . Sometimes $10k

open to any suggestions and constructive criticism!!!

Do you have a reason to stop? if not, keep on goin!

Once you app youll know and can stop then if you want

If you are going for a loan/house anytime soon then no.

A mortgage in mind but that's 12 - 18 months away, trying to get it out my system so I can let everything age and settle.

Wouldnt oull the trigger on a mortgage app until May or June 2016.

I have the same mindset and am/was doing the same thing. (get everything settled before looking for a home) Id say go for it.

Common wisdom on this site is against it and says the inquries will matter longer than a year for a home loan/mortgage. I dont know if they are right or not, I didnt see anything official saying inquries older than 1.5 or 2 years matter and can hinder your loan, just heresay.

(I posted how I dont mind apping to hell and am having fun getting lots of cards and my home loan app wont be for about 18 months so I should be fine and lots of people said it was a bad idea to the point I got tired of it and the thread was closed. I wouldnt of minded if I had asked for advice but I was just sharing what ive been doin.)

just a word of caution, Barclays has been known to CLD if they see too many APs within the first 6 months you have had the card, and will also impact your chances of auto-CLI luv with them. wait 3-6 months more and you will get a better starting CL on more cards anyway. YMMV.

I'm not worried about Barclays, I had their RMC and opened 8 new accounts when I opened theirs and still got my Cli the night of my 6th

statement. No AA from them.

CSP to go with your freedom?

You barely have any HPs other then EX... Also only two accounts reporting being the new ones.. Once the other accounts start showing up is when you might wan to stop apping as lenders won't dig that, might want to still hit while the iron is hot and finish up whatever else you might want now?

Just try to find a TU/EQ puller vs EXP preferred

Venture has a AF, I don't need 2 AF's !! But great recommendation as I've read they go good together..

No AF for the first year and they go great together and the signup bonus ... Baller will break out of the garden soon; she is just as impatient as we all are.

Although there are alot of other great cards with no af.

Fidelity AMEX 2% ? Heard they will pull TU if another place isn't available. That might honestly be my next card that way I can 86 the Cap1 QS w/2k line I have

Congrats on your approvals but now my 2 cents ....Remember you have a Barclay card and IMO the best reason to slow down and garden now. Btw QS is not going anywhere in the near future and on the other hand it is nice to know what to garden for. Set yourself a time line 6 - 12 months, stick to that plan and then go for what you like to have. Not all cards need to be added at the same time. Sometimes less is more especially when you read AA and members loosing card again. Patience is the key to success in credit..

o,as, I'm in the garden. ( still) not coming out. Can't wait til my EX freezes back at end of the month.

Well said, although I seem to apply for something every few months .. Gardening is tough. I am kinda forced in the garden now though, well with the exception of most likely one last card against TU.. Other then that until my Iniquiries and new accounts age a bit, my credit can't handle many more apps.

My last app dropped my AAoA to under 4 yrs. That was it for me till next year.
