Is this typical for them?

99% or US Banks apps are manually reviewed... So don't think to much into it.. Or can call the UW # and check the status of app or choose to speak to UW if automated system doesn't give you answer you desire..

Got the same message 2 days ago. Everytime I have called the number it states my application is still in process. Hopefully I will get the approval tomorrow!

Us bank is hard. I applied a few months back got a 7 to 10 day message.
Called the status line 2 minutes later, denied.
Tu fico 04 744, denial stated serious delinquency recently ( a paid 300 dollar charge off from feb. 2010)
Revolving installment loan balances to high( student loans have been in repayment for 2years paying on the standard repayment plan) which i pay 1100 dollars and an extra 200 a month on)
Inquiries ans new accounts

I wont touch them till i have a year of no new apps. I applied for a checking account online and denied that. Im like **bleep**! I have no bad banking hiatory with checkings.
They just dont like me.

Just checking the status line is not enough. Call the credit department directly and they will tell you what is going on. Here is the number...

Very normal for US Bank. If you applied on like a Monday or Tuesday, they'll be able to give you a decision by Friday basically. Sometimes they can do it sooner. It depends. Call them in a few days to see what's up.

They just dont like me.

Thats not nice, I heard horrible stories about them. I do not have them in my list and I am not planning to add it either.

Recently got my approval. App'd on a Sunday, took till Thursday to get approval. Accepted offer of 5k during app, then called Monday and requested higher limit of 10k, but no go, 5k is ALL I get. Hrmmph. Glad to be in with USBANK though.
