Question about credit cards

I have had a Barclay Rewards MasterCard for almost a year now, but have wanted to upgrade to Barclaycard Ring MasterCard. What are the proper steps to doing that successfully? Also is the Chase Slate or Capital One Quiksilver credit card the better credit card to have?

Can and ask for a PC but very unlikely to get it. You can app and move the CL if that will get you in. Slate vs Quicksilver are like apples and oranges. One has rewards, one is good for BTs.

Why don't you keep that card and apply seperately for the Ring? Move CL's in between them as needed.

Quicksilver and Slate are not really comparable. One is a rewards card one is a BT card. Quicksilver will earn you cash back for every purchase. Slate is good to consolidate your credit.
