Comenity CLI's broken for me?

So I posted last week about finally getting a CLI on my Gamestop card after almost 9 months. I had to call into customer service because the LUV button was giving me this message:

I only got a $200 increase. I was hoping to go back to the LUV button and hit it for more (we all know about the Comenity slot machine ) but this message is still there.

I checked the other cards I have, and I see that all four of my Comenity cards are giving me this message (with different phone numbers) when hitting the LUV button.

Is Comenity turning off online CLI's?

Dunno for everyone but JCrew is come to a screeching halt as far as any CLI's for me the past 3 months. And that's even after ramping up some sales to it. Ugh.

My J Crew stopped at $4450. Last CLI was 4/10.

My last Crew CLI was in Noevember! its still sits at $8250

OP...Comenity is kinda getting a little weird. Some of the accts have that message, and if you call in, it will transfer you to a credit rep (m-f till 7pm), and sometimes they just want to verify income, and stuff like that if its a fairly new acct. I get this all the time on a few of mine, others I can go thru with the CLI.. Depends on the card.

Just keep checking it. You may be availble for a CLI until 6-9 months...

Jcrew appears to have become alot more conservative.. I got up to 4450 then wasn't able to get anything for a few months even though I purchased stuff those two month the other day I was able to only get another 300 out of them and then stopped at 4750... I think they are pulling in the reins personally for the Jcrew card.. If you got in early enough you got the 8-15k CL's now it apperas they might be scaling them back? Was hoping I was going to go for a wild ride after I saw the first CLI, then nope it stopped...Think I have had the card 8 months now?

Got an increase last month on my 2 Comenity backed cards. I'll see if I get the same message when I do my attempts on the 20th.

Comenity annoys me lol if they are going to give increases, I wish they would just do it in one request. They are $200ing me to death. I got 3 $200 increases on my VS card before I got the 7-10 day message and never get more than $200 on overstock. I sure hope they do better than that on my total rewards visa. I am waiting til the 4 month mark next month before hitting the button. I plan to use it alot in the next month to see if that helps boost the increase. I definitely won't be getting any other card with them.

I just got a $300 J Crew increase yesterday. This makes increase number 3. But Overstock is crap. Cannot get any increase from them in 3 tries.Stuck with a $500 starting limit after 3 months. I think Comenity has them set up to favor people with long credit histories.

I don't need that account. Tried calling yesterday no supervisor came to the phone. Will call the backdoor number tomorrow. If no success will have to close it.

Your Comenity faucet is dripping $ - sooner or later it might just run out of steam.

Sorta broken over here too.

I got letters, and letters WITH increases, they are all over the place! One letter that said i have no experience at new limit...I got an immediate increase after SL with overstock, and they said I had no experience. I nailed my purchase to be pocket change over the 250 mark to get free financing, and the next day I made a 75 payment. Maybe after the actual first statement hits they will see ive almost paid it off and show experience. I had zero commenity bank accounts until 1.5 weeks ago when i found myfico.com and did my first SCT's.

I did not know gamestop has a commenity card. that would be nice for the stepson. Batman PS4 bundle?

With your scores and cards you don't need SCT's... Especially the Gamestop card.. I had it and cancelled it 3 or 4 months into it... Horrid rewards and doesn't grow persay unlike Jcrew.

I read somehwere that J. Crew was in financial dire straits. Is this why Comenity lets you get such high limits? Mine is $5,500. I liked J. Crew as a college student. Once I apped for the card and went to the store I could not believe the prices. $120 for a pair of jeans? I buy my nephews neon socks and cheap stuff. I keep it for utilization.

My scores seem ok for the casual observer. I have a repo from wellsfargo 2012, and settled for less with CITI on 2 cards in 2013. I blindly applied for bestbuy and they are citi. After finding this site I have learned how to pick my battles. A 660 with no blems for example can probably beat my new ~717 fico (per barclays) any day of the week as far as applying for new credit.

Gamestop is ok for what it is, the younger crowd. I now have several big boy 0% in my wheelhouse so if i want a console i can slap it on any of them, but the stepson who is 18 can either pay on mine to be more responsible or possibly get his own. I am not saying age has much to do with it anymore, I had over 800 credit scores with zero real estate when i bought a new off lot Dodge SRT-4 in 2004 and was actually unemployed! Those were the days right?
