So last night I decided to apply for the Discover it. After the initial app was complete I was asked to submit a copy of my SSN and Utility bill, I uploaded the documents and then received the 5-7 day message. I initiated chat and was informed to call 18003473072 during business hours to expedite the process. As of this morning I have not called, the app status page still says upload documents; I’m not in the mood to be grilled about my credit report, so I really don’t want to call. Over the course of 2 years I’ve applied for the Discover It countless times and always denied. Has anyone experienced this?

This is what happened to me. They just wanted to verify my new address, identity etc. I had to upload a bill and they wanted to confirm it. They also wanted to make sure I still accepted the offer because they could not do the 0% intro APR so I had to accept a 10.99% APR. They never asked about my credit history though.

I had a fraud alert on my Equifax according to Discover, even though I don't see it, as far as I knew it was removed on 6/4. I spoke to new accounts, they asked me to name one credit card I had then put me on hold. When the CSR came back he congratulated me. The CL is 4,000, 12 month interest free, after promotional purchase APR will be 14.99 (my lowest APR). Fifty dollar gift card after 50 dollar spend on Amazon. I'm so surprised with the starting CL considering there very conservative.

Absolutely! CSR said I wouldn't have to but I will double check when I get the card. Do I have to wait for a billing cycle to start getting the double cash?
