Pre-Qualified offers! When to Expect them?

Morning Everyone

My questions is ...When can i expect a card offer i have two secured cards USAA(800),CAP One(500). My Quick Silver is asigned as a user.I have been paying with out late always early for 5 mts. MUtilization this month is 11%. I am hoping for something soon. Can anyone shed any light on my current situation and any expectations.

Any insight would be great!

you should be getting the ugly subprime offers in the mail already. You can always go to the good respected sites and check the prequals with no hard pull yourself. I'm With you is a good feeling to get junk mail all over again before bad choices.

This is one way to check.

Expect Discover It and Capital One offers at around 6-7 months of history. If you do nothing for 1 whole year from your second card you'll get tons of prime offers. Assuming you pay on time everytime and don't get your Util high.

Your on point! I am getting stuff from Credit One already. I really want better i will avoid the Credit one that i am certain. I hope to get a pre qualified for Capital one soon.

Exactly! You already have 2 lines building history. If you wait a year, you will break your goal of 700 (or be close) and then you'll have over 1 year of AAOA, your next app won't drop you down as far as if you apply 4 months from now on your first Cap1 offer.

I think I signed up on the Chase site to opt in for prequals. Opting in for everyone to start sending me stuff I think. I do recommend garding for a year though.

Well im in the garden tell January .....Wish me luck I have two collections come off next week.Than thats it.One Paid collection paid i need to send GW letters again . Premier turned down my good will letter, might have to sit this one for the long hall 10 mts to go on it geez the are very un-forgiving. Never again will i make that mistake.

Agreed. with your current scores. you will not be really getting many prime card offers. regardless of util. youve been paying on time for 5 months. that is not going to get it. it will take 2 years for that late to diminish on your scores. and it still will have an affect. at this point just keep doing what you are doing and let your scores grow with time. good luck.

I have received exactly ONE offer in the mail. I got it 13 months ago from Cap 1 for the Platinum card. I took the offer, got $300 in credit steps. I have never received another offer in the mail. I got a few cards through online pre-quals (QS1, Venture, Freedom) the rest were all cold apps.

Hehe I cant get prequald for anything really....just got send an offer for a 2nd First Premier card LOL not gonna happen. I did get a prequal from a local bank that I accpeted and I saw they pulled my EQ but I have yet to call to check the status; I had a card with them like 10yrs ago that I never used so I closed. At least the hard pull made my score jump 8pt so even if it was a denial oh well.
