What is SYNCB "Credit Solutions"?

I have seen reference to calling Sync credit solutions for things like recon and CLI on certain cards (e.g. Walmart Store Card).

When people say specifically "Credit Solutions" are they referring to the standard phone number on the card or something unpublished. Is Credit Solutions a US based ciustomer service number? There is nothing in the 'back door list' titled "Credit Solutions". Any help?

IDK that the call center is in Asia. Every time I call I get a very American sounding lady or gentleman. Credit solutions is who you call for increases basically. I'd have to disagree.

Every time I ever called last year it was a foreign call center with reps who barely spoke English. I called in April regarding my Sam's MC and got the same thing.

Maybe they do have added ability when compared to a luv button... I wouldn't know. I've never gotten a CLI I requested in the 2 years I've dealt with Synchrony. That would include the 76/Chevron/Walmart cards I closed in 2014 and the new Sam's MC I opened a few months ago.

I'm one of those they hate... I have $5k-10k+ limits from multiple lenders and get shot down every time I request a CLI from Synchrony. Not sure why either... never burned them, always paid on time. It's obvious they don't like my BK13 or my TU score but things should change this fall when everything falls off my CR and my scores get a boost to 700+.

I said in my OP that there is no number listed as "Credit Solutions" that I could find in that thread. Either I am wrong, or you did not read my post. Either is possible.

If the number to call is the good ole regular numer, that's fine, but I am not sure why it gets this magical "Credit Solutions" term that I can not seem to find on any sync/walmart contact pages.

EDIT: There IS currently a number called "credit solutions" I am going to give it a call and see whatzit.

So, this number seems like a legitimate advanced assistance number:

Synchrony: 866-519-6441 (Credit Analyst/Credit Solutions)

This one seems just like any other number you would call for Sync:
Credit Solutions 877-379-8173

Both listed in the BackDoor thread as "Credit Solutions".

Use the first one for marginally better service, IMO.

I've called credit solutions twice in the past two days - the 6441 number - and both times they were very American sounding. One was a pleasant woman around 830 AM and the other a very southern sounding gentleman around 11:30 pm. just data!

My results were not positive, but the experience was less frustrating talking to the analyst on the 6441 number.

I am not sure Syncb calls it "Credit Solutions" any longer, but either way, that number seems like a more promising one.

the 866-519-6441 number worked the best for me, all english speaking reps. very polite and quick to make their decesion. I called 866 301 5008 and asked for a cli on sams club, the rep basically just entered the info into the computer and told me the outcome, denied. I then called 866-519 6441 number and the rep approved me after a quick credit review.

Can't say enough nice things about the 866 519 number hahaha.

Your mileage may vary, I guess. I've called the 8173 number multiple times. Each time I spoke with someone with an Indian accent but we had no communication issues. Each person was incredibly polite. Twice I've spoken with a "Justin". When I requested a CLI, I was placed on hold for a minute while he "reviewed my credit report". I received signficant increases each time.

I didn't even know there was another option besides the number I called. I'm a happy customer

And yes, they were SP's
