Chances with Apple Barclay

Barclays doesn't seem to want to approve me and I think its because they show my account as a charge off vs IIB / closed.. I spoke to a rep today and he doesn't even know when I'll be able to qualify it was that sad of a call

With this said.. I'm 9mos post d/c and want to know if I'd have a chance with an APPLE Barclays account if they don't want to approve me for their regular CC.

Apple is one of their easiest cards to get... but if you burned them you could be waiting a while.

I got mine in Sept 2013... 4 months after Ch 13 discharge... but Barclays wasn't included.

not to be rude but idk how you can expect to burn them and have them lend to you AGAIN any time soon... if you burned me i wouldn't lend to you until you paid your dues and then some.

Not to be rude but, we dont what lead her to file ch7...im not going to judge...sometimes we dont have control over what happens in our lives and may have no choice but to file ch7 or ch13. Eveyone has their reasons and can only try to get back on track..nothing wrong with asking a bank you burned for a second chance

i understand thIngs happen but it's not reasonable to expect a burned bank to give you another chance. i know banks like cap1 could care less but that's not how normal business is.

Well, that's how some businesses now work....Although is not reasonable "in your opinion or opinion from others", some banks give people a second chance. I hope you're never in that situation, only then you will understand. We don't have the right to judge anyone and I'm not trying to put you down in anyway or, Just my opinion.

i didn't take it as you putting me down. i didn't do anything to be put down about lol. it's a bummer for anyone having to go through that situation and it's a HUGE decision to make. OP why do you want barclay so bad though?

I just got Barclays Apple Reward....I had to recon, scores in 630s. I didn't have a BK, so I'm not experienced with that, but why not try for Cap 1? They are forgiving - have you tried their prequal site?

You're right, nothing wrong with asking for a second chance. However it appears that OP has already asked and has been declined. It may be time to move on for now.

OP, if you don't mind sharing, how much did you burn them for?
