Question regarding Discover card approval

So I helped my wife apply for the Discover card IT (5% back) card last night. A message came back requesting that she download proof of residence and social security. We downloaded a copy of her AKDL and SS card. A message then stated application was under review and we would be contacted within 5-7 days. Anyone else get these messages and if so were you eventually approved. I assume if she was declined it would not have asked her for these addl docs.

I'm thinking it's an approval. What are her scores? Does she have any other cards?

I'd bet it's an approval. With all the cybercrime and identity theft, credit card companies are dotting their I's and crossing their T's. Last two cards I was approved for both a Barclay Apple Card a Walmart Card had to verify my identity and then approved me. That has been in the last 2 weeks.

Keep us posted, hopefully it's an approval.

Her FICO are 692-701.
